Terms
Effective 9 September 2026. By using PolyChat, you agree to these terms.
The service
PolyChat provides chat, DMs, private groups, servers and channels, file sharing, voice messages, conversation calls, translations, PolyChat Voice, and PolyChat Meet. The service is provided as-is and features may change, experience interruption, or be withdrawn.
Your account
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access credentials private. Do not impersonate another person or attempt to bypass conversation membership, file, call, or meeting controls.
Your content
You retain responsibility for messages and files you submit. You must have the right to share them. You grant PolyChat the limited permission needed to store, process, translate, transmit, display, and deliver that content to the people and services you select.
Acceptable use
- No illegal content, malware, sexual exploitation, credible threats, harassment, or targeted abuse.
- No spam, automated scraping, denial-of-service activity, security probing, or attempts to evade limits.
- No sharing content that violates copyright, privacy, or another person’s rights.
- No deceptive impersonation of PolyChat, Swift7, Google, or another user.
Calls and meetings
Get consent before recording a call with external software. Connection quality depends on devices and networks; PolyChat cannot guarantee that every WebRTC call will connect. Meeting codes and invitation links should be shared only with intended participants.
Age and safety
You must meet the minimum legal age for online services in your country and any applicable Google account requirements. Do not use PolyChat for emergencies.
Enforcement and availability
Accounts or content may be restricted or removed to protect users, comply with law, or enforce these terms. Back up anything important; PolyChat does not guarantee permanent storage or recovery of messages and files.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, PolyChat and Swift7 are not liable for downtime, lost content, failed calls, third-party translation errors, or misuse by other users.
